Fluffiest Belgian Waffles

Waffles are a great breakfast to make for kids, teenagers, or adults. Whether you top them with fruits, butter, or maple syrup, they’re a breakfast favorite, and for good reason too. Everyone enjoys a fluffy Belgian waffle on a sleepy morning.

  1. Mix all your dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, vanilla, and oil

3. Whisk the wet mixture into the dry mixture

4. Add additional teaspoons of milk until the mixture is thin but not too runny

5. Spray waffle iron and cook until the iron releases or the timer runs out. Your finished waffle should look like this! This recipe makes about 2-3 waffles

Fluffiest Belgian Waffles

Serves: 2-3 waffles

Time: 20 minutes

  • 1 1/4 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
  1. Mix together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, sugar)
  2. Mix together the wet ingredients (eggs, milk, vanilla, oil)
  3. Stir wet mixture into dry mixture
  4. Add additional milk until consistency is thin but not too runny
  5. Spray waffle maker and pour in the mixture until it evenly covers all quadrants. Cook until timer runs out or pan releases.
  6. Drizzle with syrup, add a pat of butter, or top with fruit! Enjoy!
